Plant QA Technician - Aseptic

Responsibilities

  • Execute corporate and plant-specific Food Safety, Quality, and Laboratory requirements.
  • Aid in batching chemicals/ingredients for production.
  • Calibrate lab and line equipment for accurate results.
  • Collect in-process and finished product samples.
  • Conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative testing to ensure compliance.
  • Perform aseptic testing for microbial contamination.
  • Document testing results according to protocols.
  • Recognize and address deficiencies, initiating appropriate follow-up.
  • Isolate products that do not meet standards.
  • Aid in troubleshooting deficiencies and non-conformances.
  • Review and maintain food safety and quality records.
  • Participate in plant teams (HACCP, Safety, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 0 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 0 years of experience in the QA Technician role.
  • Minimum 0 years of experience managing people/projects.
  • Must read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights) on a rotating schedule.
  • Must follow GMP Policy and wear company-issued attire in production areas.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of experience in the QA Technician role.
  • 2 years of experience managing people/projects.

Education

  • Minimum required: High School Diploma.
  • PREFERRED: Associate's Degree.
