Plant President
Job Description
The Plant President provides leadership in the development and execution of plans and strategies for continually improving people, processes, technology, and culture. The Plant President is responsible for monitoring employee development, equipment performance and utilization, safety practices, and other key business indicators; and, working with the site leadership team and business Executives to build and execute action plans to improve and achieve strategic plans, budgets, and other corporate goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Graphic Arts or related field, or equivalent years of experience, preferred
- 8+ years of diversified management experience within the printing industry OR similar manufacturing industry, with proven success in leading operations teams
- Experience leading sales teams is highly desired
- Continuous Improvement / Lean skills/experience highly preferred
- Ability to lead a diverse team of both sales and operations group
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with internal and external teams
- Ability to lead and influence change
- Ability to lead through empathy
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong desire to apply continuous improvement throughout the plant
Additional Information
RRD's current salary range for this role is $172,400 to $275,800 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
