This role is responsible for operating and monitoring mixing, extrusion, and shaped grains production equipment to safely produce high-quality products that meet customer and process specifications. Responsibilities

• Operate mixing, extrusion, and shaped grains equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain product quality and throughput.
• Conduct quality inspections, collect samples, and complete required testing and documentation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor equipment maintenance.
• Use forklifts and material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products.
• Accurately complete production reports, inventory transactions, and electronic data entry.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous industrial manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience and certification.
