Plant Operator (NIGHT)

About the role

We are hiring a Plant Operator to join our production team in Star, MS. The primary objective is to ensure the safe and efficient loading and packaging of dry ice products.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily loading, weighing, and packaging of dry ice products into various containers (blocks, pellets, slices) based on customer orders.
• Inspect all finished products to ensure they meet the company's strict quality standards regarding weight, density, and packaging integrity.
• Operate production machinery and material handling equipment (such as forklifts or pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Accurate logging of production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
