Plant Operations Director

Spring Gardens Oquirrth Mountain is seeking a dedicated professional as our Plant Operations Director for our beautiful assisted living community in Murray, UT. Schedule

The ideal applicant must be available to work weekdays and also be available for 24/7 emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical plant, exterior, and interior common areas, and individual resident units in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and values.
• Complete work orders alongside team members (hands‑on position).
• Assist with apartment turnovers – painting, carpet cleaning, pressure washing.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping around the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.

Requirements

• Commitment to life safety/emergency compliance.
• Prefer 3 years of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and/or housekeeping handling upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters.
• Prior property management or multifamily housing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
