Plant Nurse (Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional to provide medical care and first response services, supporting safety managers in managing health programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain workers' compensation records
• Schedule doctor visits
• Coordinate pre-employment physicals and drug tests
• Develop employee health and wellness initiatives such as immunizations, health assessments, and counseling
• Manage hearing conservation, heat stress, respiratory protection, and ergonomics programs, including employee training

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified EMT/Paramedic
• Certification as an Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or willingness to obtain
• Prior occupational health experience preferred
• Ensure confidentiality
• Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, and FMLA regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Physical requirements

• Lifting up to 25 lbs
• Frequent computer use
• Working around noise, heat, cold, and odors
