Plant Manager - Plumbing/Utilities (JR221695)

About the role

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Plumbing/Utilities department, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and repair of all plumbing systems and utilities within the facility.
  • Ensure all staff members are trained and certified in emergency response procedures.
  • Develop and implement energy conservation strategies to reduce utility costs.
  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure timely delivery of necessary supplies and services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve cross-functional issues related to utilities and plumbing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar managerial position.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and oversee construction projects.
  • Experience with HVAC and electrical systems a plus.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Pay

$XX per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some evening and weekend shifts required.
