Plant Manager, Fayetteville, NC

Job Description

Main Tasks

• Establishing the operating budget, approving investments and monitoring the cost and effectiveness of the production activities (e.g., controlling cost and capex)
• Driving continuous improvement activities, implement and sustain production basics to achieve the required benchmarking results in safety, quality, delivery and cost incl. inventory
• Sustaining and implementing a Quality Management System by developing and enforcing local quality assurance strategies and implementing appropriate procedure and measures for quality control
• Ensuring efficient logistics operations including logistics planning, transport logistics and production logistics
• Ensuring proper maintenance of all technical equipment in the plant to facilitate a smooth production process
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory HSE standards to protect employees and environment

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 10+ years of previous experience as a plant manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong experience with continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Pull Flow).
• Experience in SAP.
• Strong background in risk management and production fundamentals.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving strategic initiatives.
• Knowledge of TS 16949, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
