Plant Manager
About the role
Resource Label Group is seeking a Plant Manager for our Mukilteo, WA Operations team who will be responsible for leading and directing a variety of activities to ensure a successful achievement of day-to-day and growth goals. The ideal candidate will influence a positive work environment that drives a proactive culture of safety and employee engagement, while providing leadership to the overall operations of the Advanced Labels NW facility.
The Ideal Candidate Will Manage the location’s budget by maintaining service levels to our customers while striving to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity standards to drive a “Best in Class” culture. Forward thinker and action-oriented Manager, with the motivation to lead a team with a “Have Fun, Get It Done” attitude.
Responsibilities
- Work with your team to manage day-to-day operations to execute business plans that align with company goals and overall strategic vision.
- Oversee and drive improvements in production to meet short-term and long-term objectives to achieve optimum efficiency.
- Build a high performing team by establishing strong performance standards and continuously work to grow and develop team members.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives tied to the strategic business direction; execute thoughtful change management.
- Build partnerships and effectively collaborate with commercial/sales business partners to identify facility growth opportunities and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Work collaboratively with other cross-functional leaders to best serve the customer’s needs.
- Proactively build and maintain Continuous Improvement deck and Capital Expenditure plans.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, execute necessary solutions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive operations management experience in manufacturing setting with direct responsibility for safety, quality, reliability, production, and financial results; Label, Printing, or Packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).
- Proven experience in budget and financial management.
- Demonstrated track record of strong goal setting and ability to build, develop, lead, and motivate diverse teams through transformative change.
- Ability to respond quickly to changing demands, processes, and evolving information.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adjust communication style based on audience
Pay
Posted Pay Range: $135,000 - $180,000
