PLANT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - READY MIX

Duties and/or Responsibilities

• Oversees the maintenance of all Ready Mix plant and equipment including the setup of new or temporary plant operations.
• Plans and coordinates the schedule of preventative maintenance.
• Maintains inventory of parts and equipment and requisitions replacement stock.
• Estimates costs of personnel, parts and supplies to be used during maintenance.
• Keeps equipment running and maintained properly to maximize production and quality.
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written).
• Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
• Ensures MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance, Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Back-up plant operator and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School or GED plus higher trade or technical school or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years mechanical and electrical experience.
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.
