Plant Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Technician ensures a high level of service to Vestis customers through opening and closing the building and ensuring the facility is functional.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment and all facilities and schedule and manage sub-contractors and outside maintenance
• Source and order supplies
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance environment or related field preferred
• Able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs 8–10 hours in a day
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Detail oriented
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent attendance and performance
• Able to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime as needed
