Plant Laborer
About the role
Martin Marietta is currently seeking a skilled individual to join their team at the Noblesville Stone plant. This position involves operating various pieces of equipment and assisting with plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Aid in plant operations including production, quality control, loading, and shipping
- Assist with preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment
- Be willing to cross-train in all plant areas
- Learn to operate plant-specific mobile equipment
- Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintain a maintenance log
- Maintain good housekeeping in areas of responsibility
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School degree
- 1+ year related experience
- Heavy Equipment Operations
- Welding/Maintenance experience
Physical Demands
- Occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Talk or hear
- Taste or smell
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that may require long hours and weekend work.
