Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Plant Laborer to support daily operations in our manufacturing facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Wrap finished pallets using stretch wrap equipment or manual methods to ensure product stability and safe transport.
- Move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility as needed.
- Auxiliary with production line operations and packaging activities.
- Inspect pallets and products for quality and report any issues to supervisors.
- Stack, organize, and stage products for shipment or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and production floors.
- Perform general labor tasks, including sweeping, shoveling, lifting, and material handling.
- Auxiliary with loading and unloading trucks when required.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues promptly.
- Support other plant operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor in an industrial environment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting.
- Experience with pallet wrapping, packaging, or material handling.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–70 pounds.
- Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely perform manual labor throughout a scheduled shift.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive physical activity.
- Overtime, weekend work, and shift work may be required based on operational needs.
