Plant Laborer - 3nd Shift 11pm-7:30am

About the role

Darling Ingredients is looking to hire a Plant laborer for our plant in Berlin, WI. Are you ready to get started in an entry-level manufacturing job with a stable worldwide company?

Responsibilities

• Control the process of turning raw material into finished goods.
• Start up and shut down the production line as well as maximize efficiency while it is running.
• Monitor the control panels and various gauges on key equipment at the plant.
• Samples and tests for quality, making process adjustments based on the results.
• Verify that equipment is properly locked out for repairs and perform some preventative maintenance duties such as lubricating machinery.
• Help the team clean out our air handling or other processing equipment as part of our weekly cleaning schedule.
• Ensure the safety of our plant and our people while keeping production moving efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Mechanical abilities a big plus.

Pay

The Plant laborer position earns a competitive entry-level wage of $24.36/hour.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience is preferred.
• Knowledge about manufacturing plant processes and equipment are preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.

Schedule

This full-time manufacturing job works 8-12 hour days; Monday - Friday with Some Saturday work. The normal shift start is 11:00pm but varies depending on need. This plant operates primarily 24/5 and the flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends as needed is required.
