About the role
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating a positive employee experience. This role is on-site based out of our Yorkville, IL location.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract and hire top talent to support plant growth and success.
- Lead all plant payroll activities, including timekeeping validation, payroll review and approval, issue resolution, and coordination with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant employee payments.
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to plant leadership, providing guidance and support on employee relations and workforce matters.
- Champion company policies, programs, and initiatives while ensuring clear communication and consistent application across the site.
- Build strong relationships with employees and leaders to foster an engaged, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Support employees and managers in a dynamic 24/5 manufacturing environment, helping address workforce needs as they arise.
- Contribute to special projects and other HR initiatives that drive continuous improvement and employee success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline is required.
- Minimum of five years' experience in Human Resources with a minimum of two years as a manager.
- Spanish proficiency required.
- Strong communication, analytical abilities, and organization skills.
- General proficiency with computers and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Human Resources management experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.

Pay & Schedule
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000. The plant operates Monday through Friday across three shifts. While this position primarily works standard business hours, occasional support for employee events, off-shift employee needs, or urgent business situations during evenings and weekends may be required.
