Plant Health Care Specialist

Specialists will have the opportunity to treat and protect our communities trees through a number of treatment options. These treatments will positively impact our community by continuously creating a healthy tree community and preserving our beloved environment.

Expectations

• Provide/ Maintain a Professional Level of Communication with clients and staff.
• Provide/Maintain Professional Image with Clientele
• Utilization of LMN which is our sole IT format with day-to-day operations.
• On the Job Training
• 8-hour days or more or as needed (Seasonal)
• Contribute to a profitable plant health care division.
• Continue to grow and customer service the plant health care division.

• Very light to no weekend expectations
• Winter layoff avoided by shifting to general tree care or assisting with snow removal efforts.

Qualifications

• A passion for our industry
• Knowledge of:
• -tree and shrub identification
• -common disease and insect concerns
• -pesticide applicator license or ability to acquire upon hiring
• -ability to work alone
• -adaptability and versatility
• -proper use of chemical materials
