Plant Foreman- Glen Rose Texas

About the role

The Plant Foreman position is responsible for managing Sand and Gravel operations in the Glen Rose, Texas area. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate should demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train team members to ensure safe and efficient operation of plant equipment
• Oversee daily operations to meet production targets and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate logistics and resources
• Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or related field
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
• Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience with plant maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of material handling and transportation
