Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily safety meetings and enforce all safety policies
- Supervise plant crews and coordinate daily production
- Perform daily plant and equipment inspections
- Work with QC to ensure mix designs and quality standards
- Cook with trucking and field crews for timely deliveries
- Schedule and oversee plant maintenance and repairs
- Complete accurate daily production and safety reports
- Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
- Promote a positive, team-focused work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3+ years of asphalt plant or related experience preferred
Requirements & Skills
- Must be 18+ years old
- Pass drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of mobile asphalt plant operations to include maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate loaders, skid steers, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Follow all OSHA/MSHA and company safety policies
- Willing to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime
