Responsibilities
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial results, forecasts, and key performance indicators; communicate insights and recommendations to management
- Prepare accurate and timely month-end close reporting, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing and support compliance with internal control requirements
- Coordinate with corporate finance teams to meet reporting requirements, deadlines, and financial objectives
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage recurring financial processes, including overtime reporting, manpower allocations, labor analysis, and other operational reporting requirements
- Assist with special projects, financial analyses, and ad hoc reporting requests as needed
What You Will Learn
- Support the development and execution of Business Plans, Model Year Budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities
- Utilize financial systems and reporting tools, including SAP, Essbase, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications, to support business operations and reporting needs
- Operations of Manufacturing Finance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree
- A general understanding of core Finance or Accounting principles
- Willingness to grow and develop a career in Manufacturing Finance
- The ability to learn how to budget, forecast, and report actuals through the monthly close process
- Proficient in Google and Microsoft Suites
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent
- 1 year of experience (including student program or internship) in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in SAP and Hyperion Essbase and knowledge of the project writing system
