Plant Engineering Sr Supervisor (Nevada, MO)

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace through active and visible leadership.
• Assure compliance with company policies, government, and regulatory agency laws, regulations, and codes.
• Implement and ensure use of a Reliability Framework and Asset Management System to drive continual improvements in safety, employee engagement, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, human resources, and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
• Lead and provide direction to Plant Engineering supervisors and other direct reports to drive continuous improvement in plant performance and productivity.
• Implement strategic direction on all facilities and maintenance activities for the Nevada plant.
• Determine capital requirements necessary for the plant to maintain its ability to meet customer requirements.
• Support, manage, and lead the maintenance team to meet overall plant and business objectives.
• Promote 3M’s Plant Engineering Human Capital Strategies that deliver operational goals for recruiting, development, retention, and ultimately the technical capabilities of our workforce.
• Comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.
• Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and six (6) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment, or
• Associate’s degree in an Industrial Maintenance-related technical field and eight (8) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Travel: May include up to 5% domestic.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
