About the role

Responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and/or repair of plant equipment and machinery. Establishes standards and policies for operating procedures and inspection of maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Routine facility maintenance duties including plant electrical infrastructure, chilled water systems, HVAC and air exchange systems, facility structural maintenance, compressed air systems, and water farm systems.
  • Develop monitoring systems to evaluate the health of facility maintenance.
  • Coordinate all preventative maintenance systems through in-plant labor and outside services.
  • Manage technicians as assigned to accomplish engineering department tasks.
  • Perform technician tasks as needed to ensure ongoing positive operation of the facility, including: maintain product water and mineral injection systems, filtration, CIP tasks, ozone, filler sanitation, batching support, and similar tasks.
  • Plant project work including assisting with implementation of corporate projects, data collection initiatives related to corporate requests, and executing plant task assignments in areas needing evaluation and corrective action.
  • Drive cost-savings projects and other projects as assigned to accomplish company strategies.
  • Key contributor to ensuring overall plant safety, being an active advocate for team member safety. Drive continuous improvement in safety behaviors, environment, and culture. Be a vocal safety advocate in all plant management meetings and initiatives.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
  • Preferred: 10+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: 10+ years of experience working in a similar position.
  • Preferred: 10+ years of experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).

Qualifications

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering or other related field.

Pay

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$107,514.38 - $153,208.01 / Yearly

Bonus Target: 15% Annual
