About the role

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of 7 engineers across Android, iOS, Rust, and backend. This role offers significant impact and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers
• Partner with Product and the CTO to turn priorities into clear plans
• Own the quality of the product your team ships, including real-world validation on snow
• Work with senior engineers on architecture, technical direction, quality, and execution standards
• Help the team get real leverage from AI by combining strong usage with clear workflows, review standards, testing, and structure

Requirements

• Experience managing strong engineers in a startup or scale-up
• Hands-on engineering experience shipping code to production
• Strong product instinct and a sharp eye for quality
• Clear, direct communication style with a strong ability to build accountability and handle performance
• Strong AI fluency, high standards, and a bias for action

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams
• Experience with mobile, backend, AI, data, and hardware systems
• Ability to validate product quality in real-world conditions, such as ski testing
• Strong understanding of software development practices and quality assurance
