Responsibilities
- Establish, document, and govern baseline manufacturing and engineering processes
- Drive standard work, process control, and best practice adoption across sites
- Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, waste reduction, flow optimization)
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity
- Use data-driven analysis to optimize manufacturing performance
- Oversee design and development of equipment (2D/3D layouts, tooling, automation)
- Lead equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning
- Ensure successful execution of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Support full lifecycle facility builds (greenfield) including layout, equipment planning, and ramp
- Drive upgrades, expansions, and process improvements in existing operations (brownfield)
- Develop and execute project plans, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Care for cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS)
- Ensure all operations comply with OSHA, environmental, and corporate safety standards
- Promote a strong safety culture and risk mitigation framework
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals
- Provide coaching, performance management, and succession planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)
- 7+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams
- Hands-on experience with: Equipment design and implementation (2D/3D), FAT and SAT execution, Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance
- Experience working in greenfield and/or brownfield manufacturing environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies
- Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt) or Lean certification
- Experience working in global or multi-site manufacturing environments
- Strong project management skills (PMP or equivalent a plus)
