Plant Electro-Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies, drives, motors, gear boxes, bearings, gauges and test equipment.
- Calibrates equipment, checks furnaces operating condition, monitors glass levels and inspects samples for defects.
- Makes minor adjustments and repairs and performs preventive maintenance functions as directed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics and/or mechanical fields required.
- Experience with AC/DC power distribution, high/low voltage applications, servo systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical devices.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a safe manner and in a team environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read electrical/electronic diagrams/drawings, and an understanding of computers and related equipment is required.
- Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines, in close quarters and hot areas performing analysis and repair work.
Pay
The hourly wage for this position is $49.54.
