Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the plant, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial management principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Manage the plant’s budget, preparing forecasts and variance analyses to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including internal management and external auditors.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall plant efficiency.
• Lead the implementation of new financial systems and processes to enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in plant management or finance.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of accountants and analysts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.

Qualifications

• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with plant-level financial controls and risk management.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Pay
