Plant Associate

About the role

Hanes Companies is looking for a Plant Associate to join their team. This position works on the warehouse floor, processing orders, operating machines, and forklift driving. The ideal candidate will process customers' orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Able to inspect/operate cloth and machinery.
• Must have a cooperative attitude necessary to work effectively with others.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Must be able to follow verbal & written work instructions.
• Be Safety Conscious.

Primary Duties

• Conform to all quality/safety/environmental requirements and procedures.
• Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
• Perform routine operations on machine (load, set-up, doff) - make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Production reporting to be neat and accurate.
• Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds.
• Climb ladder to lace machine
• Operate sewing machine
• Measure and cut fabric
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.
