Plant 2 Chill Cast Operator 3rd Shift S-Th

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare lead pots or small parts casting machine.
• Dross pots.
• Make mold changes.
• Perform necessary cleaning of grids or parts.
• Clean out mold or prepare mold coat and spray up mold.
• Inspect parts, molds, grids, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to do basic math.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the local language.
• Possess a valid forklift license.

General Job Requirements

• Able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis.
• Able to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must be able and willing to wear a respirator.
• Must be able and willing to work in a plant/warehouse environment.
• Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead due to exposure to harmful materials.
