Planning Team Lead

About the role

The Planning Team Lead reports to the Contracts Coordinator and is responsible for ensuring customer requirements are met when releasing product to the production floor. This position is critical to the function of all programs and oversees Planners and Planning Assistants to maintain data flow from the customer, providing accurate schedule and material requirement information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall flow of data and communication of program requirements
• Communicate concise, accurate, and clear data to stakeholders
• Assist in eliminating waste and improving processes
• Provide a stable workflow while meeting program schedules
• Support the team in process improvements
• Maintain accurate data for KMM Procurement activities to ensure timely material availability for production

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of planning and master scheduling
• Ability to ensure accurate data for procurement activities
• Experience overseeing Planners and Planning Assistants
