About the role
As the Planning and Delivery Leader, you will manage delivery schedules and report directly to the P&C Manager. You will play an integral role in preparing, planning, issuing, and controlling production schedules, coordinating material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production. This fast-paced, highly visible role supports the North American external supply chain delivering to internal customers. You must be open to traveling up to 25% of the time domestically.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply to manufacturing facilities
- Utilize knowledge of production flow and load and capacity planning to build credible supplier delivery commitments
- Manage data integrity in SAP and ensure ERP compliance is maintained
- Effectively manage cost by executing a balanced delivery and inventory plan based on customer requirements
- Communicate and schedule long-term delivery commitments and coordinate recovery plans for critical parts
- Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives through the Rolls-Royce Production System and other problem-solving methodologies
- Supplier relationship management and planning delivery schedules for a given mix of suppliers
Requirements
- Associate degree and 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing, manufacturing, or business management, OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing, manufacturing, or business management, OR
- Master’s degree, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing, manufacturing, or business management in lieu of a degree
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience
- Adept problem-solving skills
- Strong internal and external relationship management skills
- Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) experience
- Experience collaborating with various departments
Pay
$68,255 - $110,915 annually
