About the role
The Planning Consultant offers world-class planning experiences and strengthens client relationships through asset consolidation, referrals, and plan implementation. The role involves developing an engagement strategy that meets each client's planning needs and conducting joint client appointments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an organized client contact strategy
- Engage business partners and use tools like Salesforce
- Create and maintain long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients
- Mentor and support fellow associates to foster a collaborative environment
- Support the delivery of financial planning support alongside Financial Consultants or Wealth Planners
- Leverage innovative technologies like Glance to enhance the client experience
- Profile to understand planning needs and identify appropriate solutions
- Uncover additional complex planning opportunities and partner with Financial Consultants or Wealth Planners to develop further
Requirements
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, or able to obtain Series 66 upon hire
- Minimum 2 years of financial services or relevant experience
- Attainment of CFP® Certification is highly encouraged
- Remarkable understanding of financial planning concepts to help clients build effective financial plans
- Ability to profile to understand planning needs and identify appropriate solutions
- Vested interest in building relationships and being an advocate for clients
- Motivated toward success, willing to demonstrate ownership, and committed to achieving meaningful goals
- Comfortable making outbound calls to further educate clients and uncover opportunities
