About the role
The Planning Consultant plays a crucial role in offering world-class planning experiences and strengthening client relationships through asset consolidation, referrals, and plan implementation. They develop an engagement strategy tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring they inspire client dedication and foster lifelong relationships with Fidelity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct joint client appointments and deliver personalized financial consultations using Fidelity’s offerings.
- Build and maintain an organized client contact strategy, engaging business partners and utilizing tools like Salesforce.
- Build long-lasting, meaningful relationships with clients by promoting a collaborative environment and mentoring fellow associates.
- Support the overall client relationship by leveraging innovative technologies, such as Glance, to enhance the client experience.
- Profile clients to understand their planning needs and identify appropriate solutions, fostering a motivated and successful work ethic.
- Make outbound calls to further educate clients and uncover additional complex planning opportunities, partnering with Financial Consultants or Wealth Planners to develop further.
Requirements
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 licensed and hold appropriate state registrations, or able to obtain Series 66 upon hire.
- Minimum 2 years of financial services or relevant experience.
- Attainment of CFP® Certification is highly encouraged.
- Remarkable understanding of financial planning concepts to help clients build effective financial plans.
- Vested interest in building relationships and advocating for clients.
- Comfortable making outbound calls to educate clients and uncover opportunities.
