Planning Analyst

About the role
The Planning Analyst is responsible for performing detailed analysis projects for multiple segments of the business, assisting with the creation of forecasts for sales, warehousing, and raw fruit needs, scheduling production plants, scheduling transfers of both raw fruit and finished goods to offsite warehouses, as well as managing multiple warehouse inventory levels throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal sales team on matching supply availability to demand requests
- Assist in developing sales ramp plan to successfully launch the season
- Manage transfers of raw fruit and/or finished goods to and from outside warehouses
- Create daily inventory position reports for management team
- Create and maintain the available to sell tool
- Track and manage finished goods expirations
- Support Fresh, Arils, and Beverage supply planning
- Track and analyze daily production yield to identify trends and make suggestions
- Implement the use of lean and continuous improvement tools in daily tasks
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in a planning and/or forecasting role
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in a related field or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
Skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to swiftly and effectively conduct sales/production analysis
- Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Ability to create a problem-solving culture, focused on identifying/addressing root causes of performance shortfalls
- Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills
- Ability to take charge and make decisions in a high intensity, fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
Pay
$71,000 - $80,000 per year with 5% bonus potential. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
