Responsibilities
- Ensure the master production schedule is met to support customer service, inventory goals, and configuration control
- Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, quality, and shipping/receiving to keep material flowing and production on track
- Plan, prepare, issue, and control basic production schedules and material requirements to meet production needs
- Identify raw material and component requirements from engineering and production specifications
- Maintain accurate item master schedules and bills of material
- Advise management on work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production problems
- Prepare work orders or purchase requests to support the master production schedule and inventory requirements
- Cook off material movements and expedite parts via move orders or stock transfers to meet shipping dates
- Project hardware availability for assembly build schedules and contribute to monthly sales planning objectives
- Analyze inventory usage, scrap, and waste to identify issues impacting inventory targets
- Maintain configuration control on open orders and required data files
- Cook off cross-functional activities with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Contract Administration
- Recommend process or product changes to improve efficiency and reduce cost using continuous improvement principles
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship (required for work/contract access)
- At least 1 year of relevant professional experience (entry-level professional position)
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Knowledge of general manufacturing operations and manufacturing resource planning principles
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (e.g., pull systems, process mapping, JIT)
- Ability to research and analyze data and develop recommendations
- Ability to work with general direction, set priorities, and manage scope of assignments
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and policies
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business stakeholders
Qualifications
- CPIM certification (a plus)
- Experience with manufacturing resource planning systems and standard business application software
- Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations and compliance requirements

Onsite, 1st shift (5x8 days) with start times of 5AM, 6AM, 7AM, or 8AM
