PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE)

Planner and Estimator (Corrective Maintenance) in the Facilities and Infrastructure Management Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of incoming maintenance requirements to determine scope and resources needed, sequence of operations, estimating of hours, timeframe of work, and coordination of the job's execution.
• Determine if multiple trades or shops are involved and if the work is a series of simultaneous or sequential operations; establish estimated time standards for each job segment to coincide with the mandatory completion date for the job.
• Utilize trade knowledge and experience to develop and document a workflow for sequential tasks of complex jobs that ensure timely and cost-effective use of resources.
• Execute approved procurements and document estimated delivery dates; follow-up on status to ensure delivery dates are met, and resolve any discrepancies in order to close out the procurement.
• Contact personnel to arrange for warranty work and/or seek parts and technical data, as well as arranging on-site visits and organizing required base access security and reporting procedures.
• Participate in Preventive and Corrective Maintenance technical reviews and audits to ensure current maintenance technical instructions are available and in use.

Pay

$47.92 – $55.89 per hour.
