About the Role

Preferred Care at Old Bridge is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Old Bridge, New Jersey. As a Maintenance Assistant at our state-of-the-art subacute rehabilitation and skilled nursing center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of the facility
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Conduct minor repairs and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation of equipment and machinery
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues
• Restock and replenish supplies and inventory as needed
• Assist with snow removal and other outdoor tasks as required
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all staff and residents
