About the role
At A.B.I. Resources, you will support clients with all aspects of home and community life, ensuring their safety, providing a healthy and professional friendship, assisting with personal hygiene and dressing, scheduling and attending medical and therapeutic appointments, shopping, cooking, and cleaning, organizing consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment. This role offers flexible schedules including weekday and weekend options.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily living activities
- Ensure client safety and well-being
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Schedule and attend medical and therapeutic appointments
- Assist with personal hygiene and dressing
- Organize exercise, socialization, and entertainment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proof of insurance
- Age 18 or older
- Letter of recommendation from a person and/or employer verifying experience
