About the Role
Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join their team. Established over 40 years ago, they support the elderly, disabled, and participants with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist Participants in Bucks County
- Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation if needed
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist/remind with medications
- Prepare meals, purchase food, and provide personal assistance with general living needs
- Perform personal services such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming
- Offer companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting an individual
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must complete a Criminal Background report
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
