About the role

We're seeking individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of people and families living with disabilities. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assistance to individuals with disabilities
• Support daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Ensure safety and comfort of individuals in their home environment
• Participate in community-based programs and services
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding caregiving and disability support

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience working with disabilities preferred
• Driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
• At least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays and weekends

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and empathy towards individuals with disabilities
• Basic computer skills for accessing client records and scheduling
