About the role

TRICOR is growing and looking for an experienced Insurance Placement Specialist to join our Commercial Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Commercial Lines professional who enjoys the strategy and challenge of insurance placement and is looking to expand their impact in a collaborative, results-driven organization.

You'll partner directly with some of TRICOR's most successful Producers, marketing accounts, negotiating with carriers, and helping secure competitive insurance solutions that drive client and agency success. Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal sales producers to receive client information and requirements
• Work with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms
• Manage proposal preparation, documentation, and carrier follow-up processes
• Maintain accurate records in insurance systems and ensure timely data entry and documentation
• Support internal teams with questions, issue resolution, and promote TRICOR in the community

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous insurance industry experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Insurance license (or willingness to obtain)

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications include prior insurance working with Commercial Insurance Carriers and prior experience working with underwriting teams.
