About the role
TRICOR is growing and looking for an experienced Insurance Placement Specialist to join our Commercial Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Commercial Lines professional who enjoys the strategy and challenge of insurance placement and is looking to expand their impact in a collaborative, results-driven organization.
You'll partner directly with some of TRICOR's most successful Producers, marketing accounts, negotiating with carriers, and helping secure competitive insurance solutions that drive client and agency success. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal sales producers to receive client information and requirements
- Work with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms
- Manage proposal preparation, documentation, and carrier follow-up processes
- Maintain accurate records in insurance systems and ensure timely data entry and documentation
- Support internal teams with questions, issue resolution, and promote TRICOR in the community
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Previous insurance industry experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications include prior insurance working with Commercial Insurance Carriers and prior experience working with underwriting teams.
