PL/SQL Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PL/SQL Developer with strong experience in Oracle Database development. The ideal candidate should have expertise in writing efficient SQL queries, developing PL/SQL objects, optimizing database performance, and collaborating with application teams to deliver high-quality database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and application support.
• Analyze and improve SQL and PL/SQL performance using execution plans and indexing techniques.
• Develop database objects based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and resolve production incidents.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, DBAs, and business analysts.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, views, collections, and exception handling.
• Experience with joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and complex SQL.
• Knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database architecture.
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD.
• Version control tools such as Git or SVN.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
