Purpose of the Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office to maximize its positive impact on the education of children.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example in adherence to and knowledge of CSUSA and the school's Vision, Mission, and Values, demonstrating ethical behavior and promoting teamwork.
- Complete assigned duties and projects, and participate in training programs to increase skill and proficiency.
- Stay updated on current developments and technical sources related to job responsibilities.
- Follow company policies, federal and state laws, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Take and transcribe dictation for reports, correspondence, observation and evaluation reports, letters, memos, newsletters, and other documents.
- Maintain the principal's schedule, arrange meetings, conferences, interviews, and other activities.
- Prepare evaluations, memos, newsletters, presentations, and other documents as directed by the Principal.
- Coordinate the assignments and work of substitute teachers.
- Perform office routines such as sorting mail, operating the copy machine, and serving as telephone receptionist.
- Prepare, process, and maintain oversight of purchase orders.
- Maintain an efficient filing system and retrieve documents as needed.
- Manage records and correspondence, improve systems when necessary, and respond to information requests.
- Act as an information resource for other office personnel and communicate assigned duties as required.
- Organize and prioritize multiple assignments with strong attention to detail and process-driven efficiency.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of office experience with a wide variety of responsibilities.
- Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
- Comfortable working in a learning environment as part of a team.
- Bilingual ability may be required based on vacancy specifications.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Student Information System (SIS), and email communications.
