Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment
• Prepare products to standard specifications
• Clean equipment and facility daily
• Adhere to schedules and maintain a perfect image/standards
• Provide excellent customer service, both over the phone and in person
• Process orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain store cleanliness and punctuality
• Comprehend and follow written instructions
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) quickly and accurately
• Enter information into digital systems using a computer keyboard or touch screen

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available to work between 3 PM and 11 PM
• Must be available to work Saturday/Sunday or every other weekend

Physical Requirements

• Talking and hearing, especially on the telephone
• Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
• Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
• Most tasks are performed while standing
• Walking short distances for short durations
• Lifting and unloading bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) twice a week or more
• Stacking cases of ingredients and supplies onto shelves up to 72" high

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks (e.g., removing trash)
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas
• Sudden changes in temperature when moving between indoor and outdoor tasks
• Exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust
• Cramped quarters, including walk-in cooler
• Hot surfaces/tools from ovens (up to 500°F or higher)
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
