Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation
- Consistently prepare and serve food according to presentation standards and recipes
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, including all food prep, sanitation, and storage areas
- Prepare a variety of food items accurately and with quality
- Manage and ensure quality of each step of the product lifecycle, particularly the production line
- Document and report any discrepancies with food products, safety, and equipment
- Set up the kitchen successfully for the next shift, including opening and closing procedures

Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile "bricks" with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 48".
- Walking: For short distances and durations. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
- Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are unloaded using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'. Cases are lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
- Carrying: Large cans (3 pounds, 7 ounces) are carried from workstations to storage shelves. Pizza sauce (30 pounds) is occasionally carried from storage to the front of the store. Trays of pizza dough (12 pounds per tray) are carried three at a time over short distances. During delivery, pizzas and beverages are carried while performing walking and climbing duties.
- Pushing: Trays on dollies require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled.
- Climbing: Team members must navigate stairs or climb ladders to change prices, wash walls, or perform maintenance. Delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station and when stocking ingredients or washing dishes. Duration is approximately 30-45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously.
- Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching: Performed continuously in all directions (up, down, and forward) for tasks such as turning oven controls, changing prices, lifting objects, scooping ingredients, or cleaning work surfaces.
Team members may be required to use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels.
