About the role
Assists with the planning, directing, and coordinating of various tank, pressure vessels, and piping inspection projects. Functions as both an inspector/examiner under API and PaDEP guidelines, responsible for all inspection and examination activities related to pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, heat exchangers, structures, and other plant-related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate inspection activities for various tank, pressure vessel, and piping projects
- Inspect and examine pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, heat exchangers, structures, and other plant-related equipment in accordance with API and PaDEP guidelines
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Document findings and prepare reports for project stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection and examination of pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems
- Knowledge of API and PaDEP guidelines and regulations
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Physical ability to perform inspections in confined spaces and on elevated platforms

Pay
- $80,000 - $90,000 annually
