Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering Department, including engineers, designers, and support staff.
- Oversee project delivery, scheduling, and budget performance across multiple projects.
- Provide technical direction for design of medium- and low-voltage power systems, lighting, grounding, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.).
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, mechanical, civil, and structural) to deliver integrated designs.
- Mentor and supervise engineering staff. Support professional development and performance improvement.
- Review and approve engineering documents, specifications, calculations, and reports.
- Support business development through proposal preparation, client interaction, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Manage staffing levels, workload planning, and resource allocation.
- Serve as a technical representative in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
- 15+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience, including leadership roles.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems (MV/LV), protection studies, and electrical design principles.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with transportation, industrial, or large facility projects.
- Familiarity with software such as SKM, ETAP, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Strong background in specification development and construction support.

Pay
Compensation Range: $156,456.65 - $201,158.55
