Pittsburgh - Energy and Natural Resources Associate (Mid-Level)

Reed Smith’s Pittsburgh office is seeking a midlevel associate to join our Energy and Natural Resources group.

About the role

Candidates should have three to five years of experience in oil and gas litigation, with some exposure to environmental and regulatory litigation preferred. Familiarity with the basics of oil and gas law and the oil and gas industry in the Appalachian Basin is expected.

Responsibilities

• Draft preliminary and dispositive motions and discovery responses
• Handle various sizes of document review and production projects
• Assist in deposition preparation (both offensively and defensively)
• Progress toward running your own matters

Requirements

• Active member of the Pennsylvania bar, or eligible to waive into Pennsylvania or sit for the Pennsylvania bar

Pay

$235,000 – $365,000. This range represents the presently anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay for this position. Actual pay may vary based on factors including but not limited to location and experience.
