PIPII Cryomodule Technician

About the role

Seeking an assembly and test technician for instrumentation used on the production PIPII SSR1 and LB650 Cryomodules.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication, assembly, installation and removal of a variety of electrical parts and sub-assemblies.
• Wiring of custom control interface boxes based on schematics, drawings, and verbal and written instructions.
• Cable assembly, layout, and termination in terminal blocks or connectors.
• Instrumentation interface and readout.
• Written documentation.

Requirements

• Soldering experience
• Proven ability to work from typical electrical schematics used for industrial control systems or equivalent.
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to work on a ladder
• Be able to lift 15lbs.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and work in a team environment.
