Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on cryogenic trailers, including cryogenic pumps, pump seals, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and trailer components
- Troubleshoot and repair cryogenic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems (12V-120V), utilizing strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Communicate equipment status, maintenance updates, and operational concerns to stakeholders, supervisors, and drivers
- Review DVIR and out-of-service reports and maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and compliance records
- Operate tractor-trailers, forklifts, aerial lifts, and skid steers in support of maintenance and fill zone operations
- Perform loading support activities, including attaching fill connections, purging, slow cooling, meter proving, and calibration of cryogenic product trailers
- Demonstrate knowledge of cryogenic product trailers, including LO2, LN2, LAR, Cryo-Mach/ACD, and CO2 Blackmer pumping systems
- Apply knowledge of DOT regulations, trailer inspection requirements, trailer air systems, brake interlock systems, and upper coupler/kingpin testing
- Work with valves, pressure relief devices, gauges, piping, hoses, check valves, and related cryogenic equipment
- Read and interpret P&IDs, SWDs, and technical documentation
- Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers
- Obtain and maintain Registered Inspector status and O2 Cleaning Certification
- Work in compliance with ISO, RCMS, QA, NF, USP, FDA, EPA, OSHA, PSM, and other applicable safety and quality standards
- Maintain housekeeping standards and support general maintenance activities affecting cryo-garage and fill zone operations
- Commit to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment at all times
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class A with Tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work an eight (8) hour daytime shift, participate in an on-call rotation, and work overtime as needed
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including standing, sitting, climbing ladders, and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email applications
- Ability to follow written procedures, including SSOPs, FDOs, and other operational documentation
