Pipe Shop Material Handler

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage
• Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accurately
• Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized

Required Experience and Skills

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Forklift experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Experience using RF Scanners

About the Role

Warehouse associates at Famous Supply are responsible for handling various materials including rooftops, steel, copper, PVC pipe, flat stock sheet metal, and other building products. Duties include unloading trucks, receiving material, putting away material, picking customer orders, staging customer orders for delivery, and loading customer delivery trucks. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy items, and proficiency in a fast-paced environment.
