Responsibilities
- With supervision, complete warehousing, inventory control, receiving, shipping, product identification, and traceability tasks.
- Complete inventory transactions such as transfers, issues, and receipts using a PC and barcode scanner.
- With supervision, assist with the Inventory Cycle Count Program.
- Use the continuous improvement program.
- Comply with safety and hazardous material handling regulations, including Hazardous Waste Management.
- Participate in the plant safety program.
- Maintain workplace organization to provide a safe and suitable environment for employees.
- Perform other job tasks as requested, keep the work area clean, and dispose of waste promptly.
- Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
- Participate in Small Group Improvement Activity Teams and daily Team Meetings.
- Initiate Engineering Change Requests to improve quality, reduce cycle times, or correct nonconformities.
- Comply with Quality Management System requirements in accordance with ISO9001.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and submit continuous improvement ideas.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures to achieve zero incidents and injuries; assist in delivering required training.
- Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal and external).
- Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Company-wide policies to reduce liability exposure.
- Handle special projects or work as assigned.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Material Handler experience.
- Experience making inventory transactions through an ERP system (preferably Epicor E9) and via barcode.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics, or material processing.
- Experience picking and issuing material to Production.
- APICS certification.

Pay
The hourly pay range for this role is $18.00 to $21.00. The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.

Work Environment
This is a production classification with work in a factory environment, including exposure to heat, cold, noise, and machinery. The role requires:
- Accurate hand/eye coordination and finger dexterity.
- Hand strength for grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Considerable standing, stooping, bending, or sitting for long periods.
- Lifting parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
